What About My Kids?

  • Our nursery for the little ones (birth - 3 YO) is open during our 9:30 & 11:00 services. We also have a Mother's Room connected to our lobby if moms ever need to feed or soothe babies throughout the morning.
  • Kids Worship meets at 9:30 & 11:00 for PreK - 5th grade for a time of music, teaching, games, & small groups.
  • Middle schoolers (grades 6-8) meet at 11:00 for "Sunday@11."
  • High schoolers (grades 9-12) meet Sunday evenings for AXIS, starting at 5:30. A lot of our high school students volunteer on Sunday mornings.
  • We value safety and security. All adult leaders working with kids or students have passed background checks and gone through extensive training.

Other Stuff

  • Wear whatever you'd like! You'll find all kinds of styles here from shorts to suits. Be comfortable and be yourself. Just please wear something.
  • If you have questions or aren't sure where to go, enter through Entrance 1 and stop by the New Here cart in the lobby. Our team will greet you with a free gift and show you around!

Next Steps Class

Once a month we host a "Next Steps" class on Sundays where we share more about who we are and ways you can get involved here. This is a great time to ask questions and get to know others who recently started attending. No need to RSVP--just come join us!

FAQs:

What time are services at Ridgepoint Church?
On Sundays we offer three worship services:
  • A classic service at 8:15 a.m. that includes hymns and traditional music led by a choir.
  • Two contemporary services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. These feature modern worship music led by a band.
All three services have the same sermon from the same pastor.
What is a typical Sunday service like?
Our worship services usually include 3-5 songs and a sermon from the Bible. The total service lasts around one hour.

Your kids (of all ages!) are welcome to sit with you in the service, or we also have age-specific ministries at 9:30 and 11:00 if you'd prefer to take them to our kids or student ministry before the service begins.
Do you have programs for kids?
Yes! We have an active and fun kids ministry designed for birth through 5th grade (6th-12th graders are considered part of our student ministry). Our kids ministry focuses on setting a biblical foundation with a focus on helping kids (and families) find and follow Jesus. We have ministries on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Learn more here.
Do you have a student ministry or youth group?
Yes! Our Amplify Ministry is for middle schoolers in 6th - 8th grades, and Axis is for high schoolers in 9th - 12th grade. Both groups offer a unique opportunity to build meaningful friendships in large and small groups as we deepen our connection with Jesus. Learn more.
Do you have a young adults ministry?
Yes! Our Twenty30 Ministry helps young adults in their 20s and 30s hold on to faith while they explore marriage, family, career, and relationships. We have weekly Bible studies, Sunday School classes, social events, and service opportunities. Learn more.
What denomination is Ridgepoint Church?
We are proudly part of a network of churches called the Mennonite Brethren. We know that title sounds intimidating, but rest assured: We hold tightly to the Bible and aim to follow Jesus well in our modern world. You can learn more about our MB background here
