HIGH  SCHOOL

Hey, I'm Kyle.

I'm the Student Ministry Pastor here. We have a ton of fun and we're also serious about growing in our faith and making a real impact. Have questions or need help getting connected? I'd love to hear from you!

AXIS is the "front door" of our high school ministry.

     Sundays | 5:30 p.m. | The Point (Entrance 4)

This is our large group gathering where all four grades (9-12) are together to experience worship, games, small groups, and relevant Biblical teaching. This is a welcoming environment where new friends are always welcome!

Enter and check in on the west side of the building at "Entrance 4"
AXIS Schedule (Sundays):
5:30 p.m. - Free meal (optional)      CLICK HERE TO SERVE A MEAL
6:00p.m. - AXIS service
7:30p.m. - Small groups  (about 45 minutes)
Worship: Connect with God through live worship music from our own Axis band.
Games: No athletic ability is required for our ice-breaker games. Brain power may be more valuable.
Teaching: Each series is based on the Bible and relevant to a teenager's life.
Small groups: Around 7:30 p.m., we split up into our small groups of 10 - 15 students of the same grade and gender.

AXIS usually meets every Sunday (except for holiday weekends).

Current Teaching Series:

April 14 - 28 (3 Weeks)
Some things are hard to understand - like chemistry, verb conjugations, the blockchain, or why your friend is mad at you.  When we face a problem, situation, or idea we’re struggling to understand, it always helps to know someone we trust can explain it to us.  When Jesus was on earth, he spent a lot of time helping his followers understand some pretty hard-to-understand ideas about God.  One of the ways Jesus often made complicated ideas simpler was by explaining them through stories and metaphors, which we call parables.  These parables help us see that God’s words are a firm foundation, in God’s kingdom, and that God’s kingdom is always growing.

Tech Team

Run lights, sound, video, or slides on Sunday mornings--or help with other special projects.

Student Impact Team

discipleship groups

D-Groups are small groups taught like short-term Bible studies based on a variety of subjects. Some of these groups meet in person while others are digital (using the Zoom app). Take your faith to the next level!

FUNDRAISING

While we cover as many costs as we can, several of our events throughout the year do include a registration fee.
To help with those expenses, we offer several fundraising opportunities throughout the year for kids and students (... and their parents).
