Reading the Bible Together.

We want to make it easy for you to read the Bible. If you've never done it before, it can seem scary or intimidating, but you can do it!

One great way to start and stay connected to God's Word is to join a Bible reading plan that outlines passages and sometimes includes devotionals to keep you on track and provide some structure. Over the past couple years, our church family has gone through several of these plans together utilizing the YouVersion Bible app. This app is a free download on any mobile device, or you can also access it at bible.com.

When you join one of our churchwide plans, you're able to see and track the progress of others from our church family. This adds an extra level of accountability, plus it's fun to know we're all reading the same passages together! These plans also offer the option to post comments on the daily readings, so you can share what you learned or post questions to the rest of the group.

The Plan for 2025:

This year we're excited to launch our very own plan on YouVersion! Here are important things for you to know:
  • This year we're releasing four quarterly reading plans so others can join in with us throughout the year. This first quarter will take us through the end of March.
  • If you read everything outlined in the plan, you'll read through the entire Bible once this year, along with a bonus round through the Gospels and the book of Romans.
  • Each day will have one specific verse that we encourage you to memorize or journal about. Then each day will also have at least one chapter from the New Testament and one from the Old Testament. If you read all of the chapters, it will be a significant time investment. We encourage you to at least read the New Testament section, but push yourself to do as much as you can! If you choose to commit to just the one verse a day, that's great too!
  • YouVersion caps these plans at 150 people, and we always quickly meet that number! This year we decided to start with three identical plans so hopefully there is room for everyone. We encourage you to join the plan that matches the worship service you typically attend most often so hopefully you will see familiar names and faces in the comments section.
  • Trouble joining a plan? Have questions? Ask Matt.
