Spring Break Mission Trip For High School Students

Saturday, March 14 - Saturday, March 21, 2026     |    Navajo Reservation, NM    |    Spots Are Limited
Every spring break, Ridgepoint Students takes time to step outside of our routines and step into God’s mission. This year, we are serving on a Navajo reservation in northwestern New Mexico—the largest Native American tribe in the U.S., with deep needs and deep spiritual hunger. Native Americans today are the most impoverished group in America, with heartbreaking realities of violence, addiction, unemployment, and despair. Fewer than 5% identify as Christians, and many view Christianity only as “the white man’s religion.” Yet in the midst of these challenges, God is already at work. Our team will join faithful ministry partners serving the Navajo people in what’s known as the “checkerboard” region, a mix of tribal and nontribal lands at 7,200 feet in the high desert. Life and ministry here are almost entirely relational—building trust and friendships that open the door to the hope of Jesus. We’ll have opportunities to serve through kids’ camps, VBS, sports outreach, and hands-on projects, but our greatest mission is to reflect Christ’s love in every conversation and connection. This trip isn’t just about going somewhere new—it’s about being present with people who matter deeply to God. We go not to bring Jesus to the Navajo people, but to join Him in what He is already doing among them. Come ready to serve, to learn, and to let God stretch your faith as you live out the Gospel in a place desperate for His hope.
Why go on this mission trip?
A mission trip is a life-changing experience that grows faith, opens eyes, and ignites passion for God’s mission. Nothing compares to how it shapes students spiritually, unites the ministry, and fuels a heart for the lost when they return home. At Ridgepoint Students, mission trips are a pillar of our ministry—we desire every student to experience one before they graduate.
What does this cost?
$790 per person
This includes transportation, food, ministry supplies, a t-shirt, and even a fun day. You can "drop out" anytime before December 28, 2025, but there is a $50 non-refundable fee.
How Will the Teams Be Formed?
Each person must fill out the online application form with their parents by December 28.  However, since spots are limited (max 38), the team will be divided into two levels.
The first level is “first-come, first-served” with the application, so don’t wait to apply below.
The second level involves providing preference to upperclassmen, as underclassmen (freshmen/sophomores) will have other opportunities in the future.

What is our "Mission Trip Rotation"?
At AXIS, we believe in following the model of Acts 1:8—reaching Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. To give students a wide range of ministry experiences while also considering family budgets, we rotate through different types of trips: local, domestic, and international (sometimes including a conference as well). Our goal is that every student participates in at least one mission trip before graduating, with the opportunity to join at least one international trip during their time in AXIS.
