Spring Break Mission Trip For High School Students
Saturday, March 15 - Thursday, March 20, 2025
SOAR WICHITA is an immersive mission trip experience in a local setting. High school students will broaden their perspective and experience what it’s like on the mission field, without the financial aspects of it. Yes, SOAR makes the mission field affordable for our students! No ministry, experience, or lesson can compare to a short-term mission trip in growing a student’s faith. It not only expands a student’s faith but it unites a ministry and fuels a passion for the lost. In year's past it was called Breakaway but we have opened it up to other churches and rebranded to SOAR. Mission trips are a pillar of Ridgepoint Students and we desire every student to go on a mission trip before they graduate. This trip’s goal is to have students breakaway from their normal daily routine to experience something extraordinary in their own community
Why go on this mission trip?
A mission trip is an incredible experience that opens eyes, softens hearts, and changes lives! No ministry, experience, or lesson can compare to a short term mission trip in growing a student’s faith. It not only expands a student’s faith but it unites a ministry and fuels the passion for the lost when the team gets back home. Mission trips are a pillar of Ridgepoint Students, and our desire is that every student goes on a mission trip before they graduate.

Can My Student Attend Only a Few Days Instead Of The Whole Time?
We prefer the student to block off the entire week to get the full experience. We might only be partnering with a certain organization one day but not all of them, so it is difficult to plan each day separately number wise. The cost will be the same whether for part or a whole day that is attended. We have to make arrangements such as food and ministry locations based on the most people who will attend that day so the cost is the same whether a certain number of students show up each day.
