Spring Break Mission Trip For High School Students

Saturday, March 15 - Thursday, March 20, 2025
SOAR WICHITA is an immersive mission trip in the local setting of Wichita. This is an opportunity to broaden your perspective and passion for the lost, expand your faith, and break away from your normal daily routine to experience something extraordinary in your own community. We would love for every student to go on a mission trip before they graduate!
Why go on this mission trip?
A mission trip is an incredible experience that opens eyes, softens hearts, and changes lives! No ministry, experience, or lesson can compare to a short term mission trip. It not only expands a student’s faith, but unites a ministry and fuels the passion for the lost.
What does this cost?
$250 per person by February 28, 2025
This includes transportation, food, a t-shirt, and more. You can "drop out" anytime before February 27, but there is a $50 non-refundable fee.
What is Multiply?
Multiply is our denomination's missions agency and has a vision to see churches planted among least-reached people groups where the church has a holistic witness bringing spiritual, emotional, social and physical transformation to lives, families and communities.
Participant Requirements:
  • Must have a passion to grow their faith in Jesus
  • Must be a regular attending AXIS student
  • Have personal health insurance
  • Attend all team meetings & devotionals
  • Completed application and fulfilled cost
  • Must be in high school (unless an adult leader)
What Will Be Some Of The Experiences?
  • Serving the families of the Oaklawn area of Wichita
  • Street evangelism & passing out hygiene kits downtown
  • Touring a Muslim Mosque
  • Attending a foreign language worship service
  • Partnering with organizations such as Kansas Food Bank, Youth Horizons, Children’s Home, etc.
  • Serving and helping local church members of Ridgepoint Church (painting, cleaning, etc.)
Can my student attend only a few days instead of the whole time?
We prefer the student to block off the entire week to get the full experience. We have to make arrangements such as food and ministry locations based on the most people who will attend that day, so the cost will be the same whether for part or a whole day that is attended.
How Will Housing Work?
Ridgepoint students will stay in their beds at home.  Individuals who live outside of Wichita will be staying overnight on campus.
