In August, 2026, we launched our fourth Sunday morning worship service called the Sending Service. This group meets at 11:00 in our Activity Center with two primary goals:

• Create space for more people to attend our worship services, as our primary Worship Center is getting very crowded with recent growth.
• Build a team and a culture that will eventually be sent out to start a new Ridgepoint campus somewhere in the Wichita area. 

The "feel" of this service will remain close to our contemporary services in our Worship Center, but it also has its own distinct culture. Here are some distinctives:

• The worship time will be primarily contemporary music led by a live, acoustic band. 
• The sermon will be shown as a video stream from our Worship Center. The same sermon will be shown in the Sending Service and our three other services in the Worship Center. 
• We will occasionally do prayer exercises, share testimonies, or divide into smaller group discussions—things that can be useful tools but impractical to pull off in the larger Worship Center. 
• Yes, the rumors are true... we also have donut holes (and our own coffee). 

"If I attend the Sending Service, does that mean I'm signing up to leave the main Ridgepoint campus?"

Great question. No! You are not required to commit to making any changes to your current Sunday morning routine, now or in the future.

• Some people will simply enjoy the calmer, acoustic atmosphere—and those people are welcome!
• Some people believe in the mission of going multi-site, but don't feel called to leave—and those people are welcome!
• Some people are intimidated by a larger church and prefer a smaller community—and those people are welcome!
• And yes, we hope and pray that some attenders will feel called (and excited!) to join the mission as we launch this new campus—and those people are definitely welcome!

Sometime within a year or two, we plan to launch a new Ridgepoint Church campus somewhere in or around Wichita. Beyond that, we don't know very many details. Our staff is diligently working on finalizing a new location, hiring a campus pastor, and working through the initial launch timeline. As we get those details figured out, we'll share updates as quickly as we can.
