Middle School Mission's Experience

Friday - Saturday, October 24th- October 25th | $35 | Ridgepoint Church | The Point | Middle School Students 6th-8th Grade

Mark your calendars for this impactful overnight event. For just $35 per person, students will start their journey on Friday night, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. This is our second annual Mission Experience, the first one being the Spring of last school year. We moved it to the fall to take advantage of better weather and more serving opportunities, and we foresee this event staying in the fall for years to come.

What is the Middle School Mission Experience?

Middle School Missions Experience is an exciting and meaningful opportunity for your student to embark on a mission trip adventure without leaving the comfort of their home city. This event offers all the enriching experiences of a traditional mission trip at a very affordable price, designed specifically for middle school students. It replaces our long-standing 30-hour famine event, intending to nurture a compassionate heart for the lost and empower students to serve their local community. Additionally, it allows students to connect with friends during an overnight experience, building on the skills and insights they will carry into our high school ministry’s annual spring break mission trip.

What to Expect?

Throughout the weekend, students will engage in various sessions and worship, be grouped into teams, and participate in games and service projects, allowing them to learn and grow together. This experience promises to equip your child with valuable life lessons and foster a deeper sense of community and purpose. We invite you to encourage your child to participate in this exceptional journey that prepares them for future mission endeavors and strengthens their sense of empathy and leadership.

Why join this mission experience?

A mission trip is an incredible experience that opens eyes, softens hearts, and changes lives!  No ministry, experience, or lesson can compare to a short-term mission trip in growing a student’s faith.   It expands a student’s faith, unites a ministry, and fuels the passion for the lost when the team gets back home.  Mission trips are a pillar of Ridgepoint Students, and we desire that every student go on a mission trip before graduation.

Trunk or Treat @Southlife Church

New this year! We are adding a trunk or treat element to serve the families and kids at Southlife Church (our sister church and denomination). Our students will be helping lead this event in coordination with Southlife Church. There will be more information about parent involvement coming soon!
