FREE For High School Students + Their Parents
Preparing for life after high school doesn’t have to be overwhelming—and it shouldn’t be done alone.  Whether you are college-bound, career-focused, or still figuring it out, this event is for you. Join us for the Life Skills Conference, a one-day experience designed to equip high school students and their parents with practical tools, real-world insight, and helpful resources for the future. Lunch is provided. Register by June 30 for a chance at over $300 in door prizes.

Schedule:

🍽️ Lunch for Everyone (12:00-1:00p.m.)

🔍 Career Connections (1:00-3:00 p.m.)
Students will get a chance to sit down with experienced professionals in a career field of their interest. Through guided interviews and Q&As, they’ll learn firsthand what it takes to enter and succeed in that industry. Whether it’s medicine, mechanics, ministry, or marketing—we’ll help make the connection. Students will choose their preferred career fields during registration, and we’ll match them with a veteran in that space!

🧠 Parent Sessions (1:00-2:00 p.m.)
While students are in career breakout sessions, parents are invited to attend helpful talks on:
  • Understanding the world of Esports
  • Getting into college: applications, scholarships, tips & more
  • Teens & Technology: boundaries, safety, and healthy habits

🛠️ Essential Life Skills (3:00–5:00 p.m.)
The second half of the day focuses on hands-on life training for students, including:
  • How to change a car tire and other car maintenance 
  • Job interview tips and résumé guidance
  • Budgeting basics
  • More essential skills every teen should know!
