THIS PAGE IS JUST FOR WORKERS OF THE GARAGE SALE

This year's sale is Thursday-Saturday July 10-12, 2025.  CLICK HERE for the public page.  CLICK HERE for the Facebook page.

What Is It: Our BIG fundraiser for the year! We expect a sizable profit, which will be distributed into student accounts based on participation. We need help in every aspect of this fundraiser: working drop-off days,  setting up the sale, and running the sale.  All workers will sign-in each time they serve; after the sale, each student will get a portion of the profits based on the number of hours worked through the summer. This is for students and parents of high school youth.  We made $32,000 last year!

Sunday, July 6 anytime from 12pm - 6pm
Monday, July 7 anytime from 9am - 6pm
Tuesday, July 8 anytime from 9am - 6pm

Friday, July 11 (SALE!) 6:30am - 6:30pm
Saturday, July 12 (SALE!) 6:30am - 3:00pm (clean up starts at noon)  (Double hours day)

What are "Double Hour Days"?
All early drop off days plus Sat. & Sun. the week before,  AND Saturday afterwards (our clean up day) are double hours days.  These days each family gets "double hours" amount of hours.  So if they work 3 hours it actually counts as 6.  This is because these days are the hardest because of how much stuff we have to move.

How do drop-off dates work compared to serving at the church?
We all meet at the storage unit and help people unload their vehicles into a rented storage unit.  You will check-in and out like you normally would and all family members can work these days as well.

How will the funds be divided out?
We will take our total profit from the sale and divide it out among the total number of hours everyone worked, including parents (See below)! Which means...
THE MORE HOURS YOU WORK, THE MORE MONEY YOU MAKE!

How do we get credit for our hours?
You will sign in and out every time you work each day.  We will keep track of all hours that each FAMILY works.

Are meals provided?
Yes, each work day lunch will be provided from 12pm-1pm.  You can always bring your own lunch or go out too.

Can my family work/serve?
Yes! A parent/family member will sign up under their high school student's name. Then we add up all the hours that the family works and they get a portion of the profit at the end. So the more hours you and your family work, the bigger portion of the profit you get.  Family members can work without their high schooler present but we don't encourage that.

Can INCOMING 9th graders work?
YES!  Incoming 9th graders (for the fall school year) and their families may work the garage sale.  It's actually a great way for students to get to know the other students before high school begins.

Is this a fundraiser for Middle School Students?
Sorry, no. As of right now, the sale is not big enough to include middle school students (unless they have a high school sibling).

Can workers purchase things before the sale begins?
Yes!  It's one of the benefits, we just ask you set the item aside (off the sell floor) and put your name on it.
