Forward Family Guide (Kids & Preteen)
The Forward campaign is our two-year campaign aimed to help fund our vision of better reaching young families in our community through a building expansion project.
While adults and older kids can give money, we want our kids to be involved too! "Giving" doesn't always have to mean money. The Bible is full of stories of people being generous and kind to the people around them in a variety of ways.
Parents, we’re encouraging your family to commit intentional time together each week doing acts of giving and sharing. Included below is a list of ideas you and your family can do each week.

PreK-Kindergarten Ideas:
Please take time to take pictures of your family giving and sharing, then email them to kids@firstmbchurch.org. Also, we’d love for you to post your pictures on social media using the hashtag #ForwardWichita. Be sure to follow our First MB Kids social media pages (Instagram: firstmbkids, FB: First MB Kids).

- Clean up your neighborhood.
- Give a candy bar to your bus driver.
- Complete the sentence, “Generosity is..."
- Buy extra school supplies for your teacher.
- Make cookies for a neighbor or friend.
- Make a needs/wants list then thank God for His generosity in your life.
- Hold open a door for someone else.
- Write chalk messages on the sidewalk.
- Donate your birthday money.
- Shovel your neighbors driveway next time it snows.
- Help make dinner.
- Ask a parent to share a time when they were generous to someone.
- Donate old towels and blankets to an animal shelter.
PreK-Kindergarten Ideas:
- Clean up your neighborhood with your parents.
- Buy extra school supplies for your teacher.
- Help make dinner.
- Clean up your toys.
- Clean up your sibling's toys.
- Hold open a door for someone.
- Give someone a high five.
- Color pictures and deliver them to a nursing home (with your parents).
- Smile at someone.
- Set the table for dinner.
- Sell or donate some toys.
- Help make cookies for a neighbor or friend.
