HIGH  SCHOOL

Hey, I'm Kyle.

I'm the Student Ministry Pastor here. We have a ton of fun and we're also serious about growing in our faith and making a real impact. Have questions or need help getting connected? I'd love to hear from you!

AXIS is the "front door" of our high school ministry.

     Sundays | 6:00 p.m. | The Point (Entrance 4)

This is our large group gathering where all four grades (9-12) are together to experience worship, games, small groups, and relevant Biblical teaching. This is a welcoming environment where new friends are always welcome!

Enter and check in on the west side of the building at "Entrance 4"
Worship: Connect with God through live worship music from our own Axis band.
Games: No athletic ability is required for our ice-breaker games. Brain power may be more valuable.
Teaching: Each series is based on the Bible and relevant to a teenager's life.
Small groups: Around 7:30 p.m., we split up into our small groups of 10 - 15 students of the same grade and gender (in the summer we do not have small groups but rather AXIS After Parties!)

AXIS usually meets every Sunday (except for holiday weekends).
Summer time is when we switch things up for AXIS.  Instead of small groups we have AXIS After Parties, fun themed events where students can bring their friends.   Then instead of our 5:30pm meal we incorporate the meal into the theme for that night.  Most times events are 6-9pm and all free!

Impact Opportunities

We need you to "be the church." Put your love for God (and people!) into action by serving our community. Here are a few places that currently have openings:

Kids Ministry

Lead crafts, be a worship leader, assist a teacher, or be a small group leader!

Welcome Team

Greet people at the front doors, hand out bulletins, serve coffee, and help with Communion.

Worship Team

Like to sing? Play an instrument? Join one of our worship teams.

Tech Team

Run lights, sound, video, or slides on Sunday mornings--or help with other special projects.

Student Impact Team

Serve directly in the student ministry by teaching, leading worship, tech, setup, or greeting.

Nursery

Corral and care for the littlest (and cutest!) kiddos in the church.

discipleship groups

D-Groups are small groups taught like short-term Bible studies based on a variety of subjects. Some of these groups meet in person while others are digital (using the Zoom app). Take your faith to the next level!

FUNDRAISING

While we cover as many costs as we can, several of our events throughout the year do include a registration fee.
To help with those expenses, we offer several fundraising opportunities throughout the year for kids and students (... and their parents).
